Two-speed Three Phase Brake Motors With Three Phase Brake – Series EDAMotek's two-speed three phase brake motors Series EDA with three-phase positioning brake are designed for applications requiring a high intervention frequency. The pole switching motor series, featuring Dahlander connection and a single winding, is available with a 1:2 speed ratio and direct starting from a single voltage supply. The motor series with separate windings is available with a speed ratio different from 1:2. When no voltage is applied, the adjustable torque springs operating on the double friction surface discs help maintain the stopping position. To release the brake rapidly and silently, feed the electromagnet coil with three-phase voltage. A hand release lever is available on request.
