Single Phase Motors With High Starting Torque – Series EMDMotek's range of single phase, high starting torque motors Series EMD is equipped with
a starting and a run capacitor fitted inside the terminal box. The auxiliary capacitor, managed with either a centrifugal or an electronic circuit breaker, is able to reach starting torques of up to 1.5 times the rated torque, ensuring interchangeability with the three-phase models. The motor's compact construction makes it ideal for operating high inertia loads.
